Release pain and tension - awaken to thriving

Mind-Body Wellness

Allow the healing waters of attuned presence to wash over you, cleansing your whole system, opening a way for the inner wisdom of your being to flow into greater fullness and thriving.

Bodywork and somatic therapy are powerful tools for living with more ease and integration in our bodies as well as experiencing less pain. The way we use our bodies and minds can lead to patterns of tension and pain that can be addressed and relieved through bodywork and somatic therapy techniques.

In addition, our work together empowers your innate capacity for thriving through increased awareness and reconnection with your body, accessing layers and dimensions of being previously out of view. This can include increased awareness of your body’s unique tension patterns and the way they relate to thoughts and emotional content. In doing so, we make a space for the release of what no longer serves your system and for body-mind integration. There is a wealth of knowledge and potential right at our fingertips. May you greet the wondrous landscape of your being with newfound wonder and appreciation.

Licensed Massage Therapist, Holistic Therapy Practitioner, Owner

Sarah Hey

Sarah offers sessions tailored to each client as a unique and multi-layered individual, drawing from the wisdom of attuned presence and skilled intuition. Her priority is to come alongside your nervous system in support of more profound healing and change than if working without heed of this integral system. As such, her work is deep yet gentle, both in body and in mind. Her approach is trauma informed and helps her clients to reconnect with a sense of integrated wholeness.

Sarah incorporates and is informed by a wide range of healing modalities in her integrative approach, including a potent blend of bodywork and somatic therapy techniques. The bodywork modalities she draws from include Myofascial Release, Trigger-Point Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Holistic Pelvic Care, Tui Na, Trager, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, cupping, and gua sha. Additionally, through her studies as a Qigong instructor and in Tui Na, Sarah incorporates traditional Chinese medicine principles and energetic awareness including work with the meridian systems, acupressure points, and the breath. She works with a strong reverence for the complex interconnectivity of the body system across the physical, energetic, and mental planes of being. Sarah’s approach allows the body and nervous system to feel safe enough to open to meaningful healing and wellbeing.

Sarah is a North Carolina native who has received BA’s in psychology and studio art  from UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated from the Center for Massage & Natural Health in Asheville, NC.
